Anna Hudson is tired of trying to fit in. She knows what it’s like to feel out of place, stuck, or pulled in multiple directions at once. But songwriting has always been her bridge between chaos and peace. Raised in the small town of Winston-Salem, Hudson draws inspiration from the vast array of American musical influences, and describes her sound as “Bon Iver  if he were a 22-year-old girl.” 

Her debut EP, Kyphosis, perfectly demonstrates the purpose and meaning of music in her mind: exploring both the natural and unnatural curves of life, friendship, and love while growing up.
